Operations Manager

United States-based company is hiring a young and motivated experienced leader to fill in the Operations Manager role for our US-based operation.

Remote work from home, anywhere in the world, Monday to Friday between 7am - 6pm EST.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Verifiable 3-5 years experience as a manager
• Proven knowledge of the US trucking and logistics industry
• Seasoned leader with great people skills; charismatic; motivator
• Experience in screening, interviewing, and training direct reports
• Computer savvy
• Great persuasion skills
• Strong critical thinking
• Ready to function in a high-paced environment, under high pressure, while paying attention to details and multitasking among responsibilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication in the English language

RESPONSIBILITIES

𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:

• Manage our globally distributed team of agents working from home
• Develop, inspire and motivate your team
• Coach, counsel and discipline employees; enforce policies and procedures; fire employees when needed
• Conduct performance reviews with your reports; ensure KPIs & financial goals are being reached

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:

• Prepare performance reports from collecting, analyzing, and summarizing company data
• Structure and restructure teams to ensure top performance; identify and resolve organizational bottlenecks; prepare and complete action plans; implement system audits and analyses; design quality assurance and process improvement programs.
• Define new processes and procedures to ensure operational excellence

𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:

• Accomplish HR objectives by recruiting, selecting, and orienting new talent
• Develop training programs and provide development support to new joiners
• Provide operational support to your organization; be hands-on, get involved, and lead by example; when needed join efforts with the larger team to help them resolve problems and breakthrough hurdles
